Ducky's Opens in Galesburg
2006

Galesburg store bought by current owner Diane Van De Sande.
Van De Sande started working at the Galesburg store, now at 244 E. Main St., in 1987 and “fell in love” with the business. In 2000 she entered into a partnership with then-owner Steve Anthony, whose father George started the business in 1946, and took over the Galesburg store in 2006.
Adds Formal Dresses
2009

Adds Prom & Homecoming to Menswear Store
In 2009 Ducky's first added prom and ventured into homecoming that next year not knowing how big it would grow in the coming years.
Expansion
2019

Expansion To Larger Storefront
Ducky's took over the large corner unit on Main and Kellogg to better serve the growing customers for the menswear and dresses.

Menswear Expands To Additional Space
The menswear side expands into the neighboring unit as wedding and formal event rentals flourish.
Dress Side Rebrand to Hello Mode
2025

Say Hi To Hello Mode, Ducky's Dress side Gets A New Name & Look
With different hours, entrances & staff the rebrand was a necessary change for the growing of the dress side. With Mode meaning "fashion" in Dutch, it's a Hello to everything we've loved through the years. The store has also added boutique wear, mother's and bridal wear to the prom and homecoming they already carry.
